This class is a blend of Tai Chi and Qigong. Qigong allows the beginner to follow along immediately through repetitive moves that can provide mindfulness, agility, and balance. Tai Chi adds form and various foot movements along with the flowing and slow control found in both. They each offer better flexibility, relaxation and mindfulness. This combination of forms of movement can improve posture, energy and offer many other health benefits. .
This class is a blend of Tai Chi and Qigong. Qigong allows the beginner to follow along immediately and extracts some of the best movements of Tai Chi. With proper breathing techniques combined with a gentle, beautiful and flowing exercise, it is a joy to do and deeply relaxing. Tai Chi adds form and various foot movements along with the flowing and slow control found in both. It improves general health and wellbeing by the gentle rocking and stretching motions which can improve circulation, digestion, and lung conditions. It reduces mental stress and physical tension carried in the muscles of the body.
Payment must be made at the time of class. Check in with instructor prior to the start of class to sign in. Classroom size is limited to a set number of participants and will fill on a first come, first serve basis. Please note that all participants must be active Lakeside Members in order to take this class. Guest tickets may be purchased for non-members to take individual classes while accompanied by a member.
