June 9, 2020
DEAR LAKESIDE MEMBERS,
Lakeside Swim Club’s first week went great. Seeing people back in the pool or exercise room provides a partial glimpse of the wonderful Club we all know and hope to see again soon. The Instructional Pool has seen most lanes filled each hour of each day and the fitness/gym has availability at most times.
As we enter week two of the new summer season, we are pleased to announce that the online reservation system has been up and running with much success with the majority of active members. As it is a new system, Lakeside is continuously working on improving and making it more accessible to our members. One item to remember is that the reservation system is not attached to the membership portal that you may have used to pay your 2020 membership dues last winter. You must go to the reservation system button found on the home page, review the information, create an account, and then you will be eligible to book a timeslot. Reservations are taken up to one week prior to the use of the Club. Updated and detailed instructions on how to use the reservation system will be posted this week under FAQs. As spaces are limited for the pool(s) and the gym, if you are making and booking and unable to attend, please open your profile and cancel your reservation. There is a waitlist and that gives others a chance to attend.
And as stated before “Membership status for those active as of May 1, 2020 will be open for changes until June 19. This will allow adding or dropping people from a membership, or moving the membership to inactive status. Apart from that, everything else in regards to membership remains the same.”
Thank you for respecting the new guidelines and supporting Lakeside as it needs to be for the current situation.
