Aerobics Class
Strengthen your heart and tone your muscles for total body fitness. All
fitness levels will be challenged, regardless of your shape, size, or
ability. Wednesday evening classes will focus on a different area of
aerobics each month.

Body
Fitness Challenge
This class is designed to either get you started with a fitness program
or enhance your current cardiovascular activities. This is accomplished
with varying levels of intensity built into the class structure. After a
warm-up period, the class incorporates strength training to engage all
muscles groups and the body core. Hand weights, resistance bands, weight
bars, and balance balls are used to achieve the workout and routines are
constantly changed to accomplish better muscle conditioning and total body
fitness.

Tai Chi
Tai Chi integrates the mind and body to promote mental and physical
health. It is an intricate blend of Chinese martial arts and therapeutic
exercise. Medical studies have shown Tai Chi to be beneficial to almost
all aspects of health. The slow, meditative movements produce improvement
in muscle strength, flexibility, coordination, balance and relaxation. Tai
Chi is gentle, focusing on fluid movements that are relaxed and slow in
tempo. It also builds sharper mental focus and stamina. Tai Chi is an
approved exercise by the Arthritis foundation.
Wednesday morning classes will be focused on beginning techniques for
those just starting out.

Yoga
/ Pilates Blend
Blending Pilates and Yoga techniques, this class offers something for
everyone. Expect muscles to be toned and strengthened, flexibility to
be increased, and posture to be improved. Tying breath to movement reduces
stress while enhancing endurance. Focus is on your body’s
core, including abdominal and lower back muscles.
